my camera. my beautiful camera. is dead.

here is the unfortunate story of the last moments of my cameras life

so, i was in St.Louis taking pictures of all sorts of things at the zoo, upon taking my 528th picture, the battery dies. the lens at this time is fully extended. i put it in my purse for safety..
i get to the hotel excited to charge it for the next day, but hey.. the room key is working.. why wont the door open?
oh yea, you have to push hard on this door.

i body slam that door like a professional, upon embracing the door. i hear a *clunk*


my lens was crushed upon impact of the door. stupid purse got between me and the door.

sooo. i have yet another expensive camera broken.
it happens to be under warranty though!!
soo.. my choices were to
A. send the camera in and pay $91.50 PLUS additional shipping and handling, PLUS the cost of the new lens...
or B. buy a new camera off of the website with a 25% off coupon..

i chose B
so. of course.
i will have to wait to upload pictures ONCE AGAIN
because i was stupid enough not to put the pictures on the computer yet
